Price changes and pricing notes
Software prices move, and pricing pages sometimes disagree with themselves. This page is the log behind our cost calculator: each time we read an official pricing page we record the date, and whenever something does not line up we write it down here, with a link to the page.
What is in the log today. Everything below comes from our first full read of these pricing pages on 2026-10-16. That means there are no price changes to report yet, because we have no earlier reading to compare against. What you will find are the conflicts, gaps and oddities we saw on that first pass.
How it will grow. We re-check official pricing pages regularly. When a number differs from the previous check, we add a dated entry that says what it was and what it is now, using the same plan names the vendor uses. We only record what the vendor's own page shows on the day we looked: no estimates, no third-party price lists, and no guesses about why a price moved.
Notes by date

The same pricing URL showed two different plan lineups. One read listed Free Forever, Unlimited ($10 monthly / $7 yearly per person), Business ($19 / $12) and Enterprise. A second fetch listed Free Forever, Core ($9 yearly, shown as normally $12), Business ($17 yearly, normally $25), MAX ($100 yearly, normally $120) and Enterprise. We could not tell whether the difference comes from region or a page test. The calculator uses the first lineup.

The pricing URL redirected to a second version of the page (pricing-t3.htm), apparently an A/B test. One version showed only prices for 0 to 500 subscribers. The other had a subscriber slider that skipped 1,000 and 5,000, and its plan description (Lite up to 2,500 people) did not match its own price rows. We could not tell which version is the real price list, so AWeber's subscriber-based prices are not used.

The page gives two different start dates for usage-based AI credits: September 2026 in one place and November 2026 in the free plan's column. The embedded structured data on the page also still lists old plan names. AI pricing is not used.

The FAQ says yearly billing saves 18%, but the USD figures in the page's embedded data show Basic falling from $12 to $9 per seat (25%) and Standard from $14 to $12 (about 14%). The visible page showed AUD when loaded from Australia, so the USD numbers come from the embedded data.

The page says every paid plan gets the full feature set, but its own plan limits show differences in automations, users and sends between Comfort and Power. Not reconciled. Separately, some other sites still say the free plan covers 1,000 subscribers; the official page says 250.

The page shows one price per plan without saying whether it is monthly or yearly. The yearly switch says "get 2 months free" while the FAQ says yearly billing is 20% off, and those two do not match.

The page's embedded structured data disagrees with its visible text (it mentions a Creator plan and a Pro plan with up to 5 users). Only the visible text was recorded: Pro at $69 monthly or $59 yearly per seat, and Business by quote. The old Creator and Teams plans are not on the current page.

Other websites still list older Frase prices (for example a $14.99 Solo plan and a $44.99 Basic plan). The official page shows Starter $49 monthly / $39 yearly, Professional $129 / $103 and Scale $299 / $239.

Pro shows a 25% discount for the first year only. The calculator uses the regular price, which the page says applies from year two.

Prices depend on emails sent per month, not on the number of contacts. The page's default currency showed AUD when loaded from Australia and was switched to USD to record the numbers.

The visible page showed AUD when loaded from Australia. The USD amounts were read from the pricing data the page loads (Business $10 monthly, $8 per month on yearly billing).

The pricing URL redirected to the Japanese-language page with the same amounts. Per-member prices are labelled "from" without an explanation of what the "from" depends on.

The page shows $103.20 (Core) and $223.20 (Growth) without labelling them as yearly prices. Both are exactly 80% of the monthly price, and the page mentions a 20% yearly discount, so they are read as yearly-billing prices.

The page says its prices apply only to new purchases from 2026-01-21, and its monthly figures assume yearly billing. Business and above are sold on yearly contracts only.

The pricing page is now built around tracking how a brand appears in AI search. Older plans quoted on other sites (such as Long-form at $19) are not on the official page.

The page shows yearly-billing prices as the main numbers. Monthly prices are not printed; they were worked out from the struck-through yearly amounts ($732, $972, $1,692, each divided by 12).

Only yearly-billing monthly prices are published. No monthly-billing price is shown, so Surfer appears in the calculator on the yearly setting only.

Only yearly-billing prices are shown (Basic $10, Pro $20 per member per month). The FAQ mentions that monthly billing exists but gives no monthly price.

The page does not say how many users each plan allows. Extra users are listed as starting at $45 a month, with no plan attached.

Pricing pages read
Every official pricing page we have read, with the date. “In calculator” means its plan prices are used in the calculator; the others were read for our articles but their numbers do not fit a clean calculation.
